Who Velvet is for
Adults aged 18 or older looking for a connection. Share your age, relationship status, and intentions honestly, and respect other people’s consent and boundaries.
What is not allowed
- Paid sexual services, escort offers, or money and gifts in exchange for intimacy.
- Pornography, explicit sexual content, or requests for intimate images.
- Minors, impersonation, scams, coercion, harassment, or hate directed at anyone.
- Unwanted contact, exploitation, or sharing another person's private information.
Stay in control
You can block or report a profile from its details. Blocking a beta member hides both profiles from each other and removes your mutual likes. In the sample view, blocking hides the sample and removes its local conversation. Respect a person's decision not to connect.
Meet in public, tell someone you trust about your plans, and never send money to someone you have only met online.
About this prototype
Beta members are real saved profiles that have chosen to appear in discovery. Sample profiles and their chat replies are fictional. Beta members can exchange real text messages after mutually liking each other.
Member reports are stored privately for review and block the reported member. This beta has no staffed moderation service yet. Sample-profile reports stay on this device only. This is not an emergency service.
Your account data
ChatGPT sign-in identifies your account. Velvet stores your name, age, city, bio, relationship choices, optional interest in consensual group experiences, rule acknowledgement, and photo on the server. Your sign-in email is displayed to you; it is not added to your profile. Your profile starts hidden. If you switch on discovery, the profile details are visible to signed-in beta members with a saved adult profile. Your photo has a separate audience: all members, paid members only, mutual matches only, or only you. Paid-only access requires an active paid membership; paid subscriptions are not available in this beta yet. Changing your photo audience restricts future requests, but cannot remove copies already viewed or saved. Blocking prevents either person from viewing the other’s profile or photo.
Photo uploads are resized in your browser and metadata is removed before they are sent. Velvet does not ask for your precise location. You can edit your profile, remove a photo, or delete your saved profile below. Deletion removes it from active storage; provider backups may follow separate retention periods.
New and edited bios, including existing bios awaiting their first review, are held for owner review before publication. Phrase checks flag possible issues but a human makes the decision. You see the review status and reason in My profile and can revise or request another review. The owner can read submitted and previously approved bios, review requests and member reports. Review decisions and read status are recorded as in-app account updates. Reported members can see the report category, respond privately to the moderator, and request another review after a report closes. Reporter identities are not included in these updates. Photo and message moderation is not automated. Member likes, blocks, and reports are stored on the server. Mutual likes create a match and allow text messages between those two accounts. Messages are stored on the server, visible through the app only while both profiles are visible and mutually liked, with no blocks. This beta does not offer end-to-end encryption. Removing a like or blocking stops access to that conversation. Hiding a profile pauses messaging. Saved history becomes available again if both profiles are visible and mutually liked. Deleting your saved profile removes messages sent or received by you from active storage for both participants. Demo likes, conversations, blocks, and reports stay on this device. Reset demo clears them without deleting your saved account profile. The hosting provider also processes sign-in and technical connection information. Sign out after using a shared device.
Blocked members
Reporting also blocks the member for you. Closing the report does not remove this block. Unblock here if you want to see their visible profile again; previous likes and matches are not restored.

Read the full context in English, Bahasa Malaysia or mixed language. Flags are hints, not verdicts. Identities and relationship status are not violations by themselves. Approve respectful, non-graphic interests. Reject explicit sexual descriptions, paid sexual services, coercion or sexual content involving minors. Give a clear reason when asking a member to revise.
This queue handles bios and member reports. Photos and private messages are not automatically screened.

Photo verification
A moderator compares a fresh camera selfie with your current profile photo. Approval adds a Photo verified badge. Changing or removing your profile photo removes that badge until a new check is approved.
This is a manual photo comparison, not automated liveness, age or identity verification. It does not confirm relationship status or guarantee someone’s behaviour. No subscription is required.

Your verification selfie is never shown to other members. It is stored privately until you remove verification, replace this submission or delete your profile. Do not include an ID card or other personal documents.
The moderator reviews your existing selfie again. You can start a new check if you prefer to take a clearer photo.

Compare the face in both images and check the handwritten code. Reject unclear photos, incorrect codes or apparent manipulation with useful feedback. This check does not verify age or legal identity. You cannot review your own submission.

Account status
While suspended, your profile is hidden and you cannot browse members, like, message or change your profile. You can read account notices, respond to reports, appeal or delete your profile.
OWNER CONTROLS
Member accounts
Suspension hides a member and stops browsing, likes and messaging. Read any appeal before deciding. Reinstatement restores access according to the member’s visibility settings and existing personal blocks.

Keep your code private. Each tester gets a separate account. Test access lasts 30 days and a sign-in session lasts up to 24 hours. Signing in again ends the previous test session.

Test access
Create a separate private code for each adult tester. Test accounts start empty and have no admin rights. Each code has 10 letters and numbers and stays visible here to you as the owner. Share codes privately; anyone with a code can sign in as that tester. No invitation email is sent.
The hosting entry page must allow visitors to reach the test sign-in form without ChatGPT. Member data remains behind sign-in. Existing ChatGPT profiles are separate from new test accounts.
